As I’m sure we’ve all heard ad naseum by now, Mississippi is voting on Tuesday for a new definition of personhood, defining it, and it’s legal implications, as beginning at “conception” (which the more I read is a fairly loose term to begin with).  The Huffington Post article discusses a lot of the implications of this, with most birth control also being banned, etc etc.

But I hope to god the minute that law gets passed every single impoverished pregnant woman in Mississippi files for social security for her new person.  More food stamps, more “entitlement” programs.
